My opinion about music

It’s my opinion music is something heavenly, it makes me free.

Music is a way people can express. It transmit feelings and passion.

Listening to music can feel you happy, relaxed, excited or sad; it depends of the moment.

Music can remember you something that has happened in your life.

I think music is a type of language that is difficult to explain but every soul can understand.

I like to sit to listen to music to attention it and enjoy it.

I like music so much, but not all, because there are some genre and artists that are stressful, violent and irritating. I like the type of music that makes me feel in peace, romantic, relaxed and happy.

Nowadays a lot of artists make good music, but most of young people don’t like it, I think because of the bad education and violence in our society.

The artists are free to express but with respect for the people.

The role of music in my live

Music is something heavenly, it makes me free.

Listening to music makes me feel happy, relaxed, excited,irritated or sad; it depends of the moment, the artist or genre.

When I am listening music I can remember things that has happened in my life.

I like to take a moment to listen and enjoy music, I don’t like sleep or study or do some activities with music.

MY FAVORITE SINGER IS :CHAYANNE puerto rican singer a funmix of romantic ballads, he is a good actor and excelent dancer . i enjoy his music because is very romantic and i love his energy when his dancing and the way he move in stage.

Ricardo Arjona is my favorite singer

At the age of 8, young Ricardo could already play the guitar. He kept studying and went through a teenage rebel phase which became a problem for him at school, but never put music aside, the only thing that he enjoyed. Time went by and he never forgot the idea of becoming a professional singer.
At age 21, Ricardo Arjona got the opportunity to record his first album “Dejame decir que te amo”. The recording turned out to be a bad experience for him and he decided to leave the music business. But now he is aprofessional singing music pop because the music was always in him and dicided to try again with the lauch of his second album, his musical stamp ´jesus vervo, no sustantivo ´ a definitive cosolidation as composer and singer . The album was the most sold in history on Latin marker for some central American countries.

BONAO`S WONDERS

THE CURCE




The CURCE is an extension from the University Autonomous of Santo Domingo(UASD)in Bonao.In March the CURCE celebrated its 13th. anniversary as the only university in Bonao. The students from the CURCE are delighted because we are going to have our new buildings soon, as I saw on television the CURCE is the most modern. I think that the Curce is A jewel in Bonao because many students from Maimon, Piedra Blanca, El Verde, San Isidro, Juma, Bejucal,etc. can study in their pronvince.










THE SCOOTERS AND MOTORCYCLES



Hundreds of scooters and motorcycles adorn the streets of Bonao. The person whom has an agility, a nagassaky, a suzuky or a kym is on fashion. But the motorcycle are not the worst bacause the men whom have one can work in their own vehicle. and if it is raining it doesn`t matter because the ^motoconchos^ take an umbrella and do their job as if sun were out.



The advantage of the scooters and the motorcycles is that you can run a lot with $50.00 pesos of gasoline.










THE YELLOW TRASNPORT


A famous minibus in Bonao is called the yellow transport, it is one of the cheapest transportation in the city. The bus station are in Los Quemados and El Camellon, but you can stop the bus when it is running at the street. This transport is the best for the people whom live in Bejucal, Juma, at Duarte street, Los Arroces, etc.


twuenty busses are running from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, try to catch one.



NOTE: the buses are not yellow; the yellow transport is only a name.

My dream job

For many years I have wanted to work as a guide or a receptionist in a tourist place, because I love meet people from different places of the world and I enjoy sharing our cultures, foods, music and languages. For this reason I would like to study tourism soon. Now I am studying languages at the university. I worked s a teacher a long time ago in a project and I enjoyed it a lot. I don`t know if my dream job is well-paid but I don`t care because I want to try it.

THE TALE OF TWO WAVES (A true story)

Last summer, Wanda and Roy went on vacation to Florida. Every day, they went swimming and lay in the sun.

One morning. They were on the beach near their hotel when a huge wave knocked Wanda´s expensive Italian sunglasses into water. Wanda was very upset bacause Roy had given her the sunglasses for her birthday.

The next day, they were sunbathing on a different beach and Wanda was wearing a new, cheap pair of sunglasses. When suddenly there was another wave, which totally covered Wanda. She was furious, but then she looked down to her amazement she saw the expensive sunglasses that she had lost the day before.

MEET ME!!!!

My name is Yomaira Ortiz Polanco, most people call me Alma because my mother wanted to name me Alma Yomaira, I was born on October 21, 1988 in Bonao, Dominican Republic. My mother is Francia Polanco, she is a teacher; my father is Osiris Ortiz, he is a supervisor. I have two brothers Oscar and Francis; Oscar is 14 years old and Francis is 12. We live at 45 Jaragua Street, but my father does not live with us.

Academic Life
I am studing since I was three years old. I have taken short courses: in 2001 I took one of Gothic Letters, two years letters I took another of Information Technology.
I graduated from high school on December, 2006 at the Francisco Ant. Batista Garcia Polytechnic; one year later I graduated again as English Language Speaker and Interpreter at Time English System.
I have won nine diplomas for my excellence academic and my good behavior.
On January 29, 2007 I began to study Languages at the UASD, where I received my last diploma in my first semester. Now I am finishing the 5th semester.


Pleasures
Food: white rice, fried fish, green peas and lasagna.
Drinks: strawberry juice, peach juice, wine, punch, cider and black beer.
Colors: skyblue, crimson, and silver.
Sport: baseball.
Music: a little bit of everything.

From my angle I consider that the family is a treasure where each member is an important jewel. In the family you receive love, education, good modals, etc..The family is always with you.

my vacations

as far I remember my vacations has been just for one day and I think thats is short visit but I remember the last time when I was in the bich whit my husband and his parents, was a fantastic day whit we were in sosua puerto plata we enjoy the beach but for me was an forget day because my litter daugher never has been in the beach she was so happy and my other daughter was in the beach all time and I had a great time there we estayed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

but my ideal vacations is with my husband in a short island one week far with out any problem relaxed.
